GENERAL TERMS OF THE ROUTIVE SERVICE
FIRST.- Operation of the ROUTIVE service.
1.- Selection of destination and driver made by the user.
The user selects one country among those offered on the website www.routive.com.
Once the country is selected, the user will see a list of all the drivers recommended by ROUTIVE for that country.
2.- User and trip data.
Then, the user can enter his personal information and that of the planned trip through a form that is available on the website.
3.- Application for reservation, acceptance and payment to the driver.
The user will apply for a reservation of the selected driver through the STRIPE payment platform. Then, he will enter his payment information and finally he will receive an e-mail confirming that his application has already been sent to the driver.
Once the driver’s availability is confirmed, the user will receive an acceptance e-mail from the driver. From that moment on, the user will be able to communicate directly with the driver through the chat that is available on the website www.routive.com.
The payment will be completed upon the driver’s acceptance of the reservation, thus confirming his availability for the dates selected by the user.
If the driver does not confirm his availability for the date selected by the user, which would result in the non-acceptance of the reservation, ROUTIVE will send the user an e-mail suggesting other available drivers for that date. At this point, the user will be able to modify the reservation and select another driver.
SECOND.- ROUTIVE service scope.
ROUTIVE is solely and exclusively a mediation service between the user and the driver. Consequently, once both parties have contacted each other, ROUTIVE will remain completely unconnected to the contents and results of the particular transport services, tourist services or any other services agreed by both parties.
ROUTIVE does not charge any commission. The user will have to pay the driver the price established at the time of reservation.
FOURTH.- Cancellation of the reservation.
1.- Cancellation by the user.
The user will be able to cancel the reservation of the driver up to 48 hours before the starting date by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2.- Cancellation by the driver.
If the driver cancels the reservation, the ROUTIVE service will suggest the user other available drivers, as stipulated in section 3 of the First General Term.
1.- Once the driver accepts the reservation, the user will be able to communicate directly with him through the chat available on the website www.routive.com.
ROUTIVE will provide both the user and the driver with each other’s telephone numbers and e-mail addresses whenever it is necessary for the service delivery they have contracted, and never more than 24 hours prior to the mentioned service delivery.
2.- The contact between the user and ROUTIVE will preferably be made by e-mail. To this end, ROUTIVE provides the following valid e-mail address: email@example.com.
ROUTIVE may ask the user to give an opinion on the service provided, in order for this to be published on the website www.routive.com.
All the pictures, videos and files in any format provided by either the user or the driver regarding the service delivered will become exclusive property of the service provider, ROUTIVE.
SEVENTH.- Governing law and jurisdiction.
1.- The contract signed by the user and the service provider ROUTIVE, as well as the interpretation of the present General Terms, will be subject to the provisions of the Spanish law.
2.- In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the city of Avilés (Asturias, Spain).
